Solution B:

MgCl₂ . 6H₂O	4.18	g
Distilled water	100.0	ml
Mix components and autoclave under a N₂ atmosphere.

Aseptically and anaerobically combine solutions A, B and C in the culture vessels. Then, add (per liter) the following solutions (autoclaved and stored under a N₂ atmosphere).

3% L-Cysteine · HCl · H₂O solution	10.0	ml

Solution A:

K₂HPO₄	0.09	g
KH₂PO₄	0.07	g
NH₄Cl	0.535	g
KCl	0.33	g
NaHCO₃	2.0	g
Trace element solution (see below)	10.0	ml
Vitamin solution (see Medium No. 539)	10.0	ml
Resazurin	1.0	mg
Distilled water	900.0	ml
Mix components and adjust pH to 6.8. Distribute the medium into culture vessels (e.g., 18 ml in 50 ml serum bottle) under a stream of a N₂-CO₂ (80:20, v/v) gas mixture, seal with butyl rubber stoppers, and autoclave.

Solution C:

10% yeast extract solution	10.0	ml
Autoclave under a N₂ atmosphere.

[Comment] For KCTC 5595, incubate with a 5% inoculum.
