| Add distilled water to 700 ml. Dissolve constituents with gentle heating in the order shown above, using a few drops of HCl to dissolve the asparagine; adjust pH to 7.2. Boil and filter. After cooling, add 2.0 g of glycerol and 12.5 g of agar. Make up volume with distilled water to 1 L and autoclave to dissolve the agar. Readjust pH to 7.2 and add 400 `mug `of crystallized vitamin B12· After mixing, dispense in 10.0 ml amounts. Autoclave at 15 lbs. for 15 minutes. Allow to set in a slanted position. | ||
